Veggies for a whole season
direct, transparent, together
CSA
community supported agriculture
That’s exactly what CSA is all about. As a member, you support the farmers (us) as well as the community (each other), and help create a healthier, more local, and more resilient food system.
We, as farmers, commit to doing everything in our power to grow a bountiful harvest and to deliver fresh, nutritious vegetables, grown with care for the soil and the wider ecosystem.
By buying a share for the whole season in advance, you make it possible for us to have the capital we need at the beginning of the season — when we buy seeds, plants, and equipment. At the same time, this commitment makes the farm more independent from fluctuating market prices and supplier contracts.
We hope everyone can enjoy our CSA in their own way: whether it’s the chat you have when you pick up your box, or a new recipe you discover at home.
That’s the deal
(Bi)weekly delivery or farm pick-up
You choose a fixed pickup day and location for your vegetable box. This can be one of our depots in town or directly at the farm.
Each week (or every other week), your box is filled with fresh vegetables grown on our land. Eating straight from the field means eating with the rhythm of the seasons. In spring, the harvest is naturally a little lighter; in summer, abundance takes over, and we do our best to fit as much of it as possible into your box.
As a member, you’ll receive a weekly newsletter, so you’ll always know which vegetables to expect. We also share recipes and cooking ideas, and there’s an active community where members exchange tips and favorite recipes.
The season runs for 34 weeks, from May through December.
A weekly share includes 34 boxes, while a bi-weekly share includes 17 boxes.
Price
Solidarity payment – choosing a fair price together
Our CSA exists because we believe a truly sustainable food system cannot be built within an extractive market model. In today’s food economy, low prices too often come at the expense of land, farmers, and agricultural workers. With solidarity-based pricing, we consciously choose a different path. You choose the price of your vegetable basket based on your financial situation. If you earn more, you can pay more — and by doing so, you directly support members with fewer financial means while helping ensure a fair income for the farmers.
